Research Travel

Before your research trip (AT LEAST two weeks prior to travel), complete & submit:
​1. T2 Travel Authorization Form
2. If traveling internationally: Foreign Travel Insurance Program (FTIP) Form
3. *Did you miss the 2 week deadline?* Fill out the Travel Policy Exception Form

During your research trip:
1. Save the original receipts of all purchases (and take photos for back-up!)
2. If you are driving a personal vehicle, record your mileage when you leave and return
3. Have fun and be safe :)

After your research trip:
1. If your expenses will be reimbursed, complete & submit a Travel Expense Claim (TEC) WITHIN 60 DAYS!
2. If you will not be reimbursed, keep track of your expenses and mileage: you can use them as a tax write-off
